Our underwriters

Our school staff absence insurance policies are underwritten by leading insurers – you choose which insurer you want to transfer your absence risks over to. You can choose the insurer and the product that meets your needs:

Value Cover - ideal to protect against the majority of sickness claims, jury service and phased returns. A cost effective solution.
Comprehensive Cover - all the benefits of Value Cover, plus additional cover options … providing you with additional peace of mind.

Option 1 - Value Cover

Sickness and accident cover
Teaching staff/support staff – any/all of both full/part time staff can be included
Choice of excess period from first day onwards (The excess period is the waiting period before the daily benefit becomes payable)
Choice of daily benefit up to £250
Cover for phased returns
Cover for Jury Service

Option 2 - Comprehensive Cover

Includes all of the extra value school insurance benefits above plus:

Options on stress related illness (30 days or full year cover)
Maternity/adoption leave
Paternity/adoption leave
